So I’ve decided that a a new goal of mine is to be optimistic. I always dwell on negative things. I need to start being thankful for what I have, look at the silver lining, and focus on the good things to come. Anyway.. with that being said… Here is what I focused on today:

• God chose us in him before he created the world. He dreamt about us before he created us… how awesome is that? I always dream of things I’d like to paint, or photograph… and I rarely follow through with them. But when I do, I obsess over them and try every way possible to incorporate them into my life. I hang the photographs on my wall, I put them as backgrounds on my computer… whatever it may be… I look at them constantly. God does the same with us. He created us to be in his life. He created us to have an intimate relationship with him. It is his greatest pleasure. 
• God made us to be holy! When you create something… or if you were to create something for your own enjoyment… you would work on it for hours and hours until it was perfect. There would be times that I would print a photograph in the darkroom probably 15 times before I got it right. God is doing the same thing with you and I… the only difference is that he gets it right the first time! He created us to be perfect in his sight. We have been set apart so God can beautify us by his own glory.. and he is constantly working on our hearts. We were created to be holy and to live with him forever.
