His love endures forever.

I’m finally back in Athens. I feel like I’m always on the go. And on Wednesday I’m going to have to drive to Atlanta to a dermatologist appointment. I can never stay in one city for more than five days! It’s so frustrating. But our softball tournament was not what I hoped it would be. The eight hour drive to and from Virginia was not fun and we played five games within 24 hours. Not to mention we only won two of them. I can barely move my legs; however, I am glad I got this soreness out of the way before we go to the World Series in April. Anyway… I’m focusing on God’s love for the next few days - I’ll get back on schedule after that. Here are the notes I took tonight. Read each one as though you are “me.”

GOD…

  • loves me unconditionally.
  • is full of incomprehensible joy.
  • delights in my presence.
  • has compassion on me.
  • rejoices over me.
  • celebrates me.
  • enjoys me!
  • loves the weak.
  • is perfect.
  • demonstrated his love by dying for me.
  • does not expect me to earn his love.
  • died for sinners.
  • does not except any kind of payment for his love.
  • has given me a free gift (eternal life).
  • is rich in mercy.
  • loved me as much as he loves Christ.
  • does not love me based on my performance.
  • does not fall in and out of love with me.
  • has four dimensional love - wide, long, high, and deep.
  • is pleased with me, despite my weakness.
  • has hid my life in Christ.
  • only sees me as perfect.
  • sees me without sin.
  • has love so powerful that he can only love the weak.
  • first loved me.

Godspeed.
